Summer Solstice BBQ
The summer solstice, also known as midsummer, occurs when one of the Earth’s poles has its maximum tilt toward the Sun. It happens twice yearly, once in each hemisphere. For that hemisphere, the summer solstice is when the Sun reaches its highest position in the sky and is the day with the longest period of daylight.
Join us to celebrate the longest day of the year with a BBQ! We have the pavillon at the Port Dover Harbour Marina booked for the evening to enjoy the boats, scenery and the sunset on the water. There will be steak, salads and more! If you would like to bring something to share, please let us know what you will be bringing – firstname.lastname@example.org
We encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs, dishes, cutlery, and beverages – remember to drink responsibly!
We will start social hour and cocktails at 6:00 and the steaks will hit the grill at 6:45pm.
